Richard L. Williams
Behavior Support Specialist
Lamar is an easy going person who thoroughly enjoys his job as a behavior specialist. Before narrowing his focus to behavior supports, Lamar served as an educator in a kindergarten academy, where he worked with children with learning and behavior disabilities. The majority of Lamar’s professional career, however, has been devoted to the field of ABA. His background has equipped him with a strong skill set that allows him to teach effective replacement behaviors and foundational skills. As a result of this, and his ability to build rapport with both clients and caregivers, Lamar has observed his clients make significant gains. Ultimately, he is passionate about improving the quality of life of those he serves and is devoted to field itself. Going forward, Lamar hopes to continue making positive impacts on the lives of his clients and their families as well as improving his skillset to ensure he delivers high-quality behavior supports.
Lamar enjoys traveling, exercising, golfing, watching movies, playing with his dog, and spending time with his family and friends.
Lamar completed his undergraduate degree at Alice Lloyd College before acquiring his Master’s Degree in Special Education Learning and Behavior Disorders (P-12) from Campbellsville University. Most recently in 2016, Lamar earned his graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Profesional Psychology.
