TeleHealth ABA With Google Meets, Virtru Services & HIPAA Compliance in Applied Behavior Analysis/Behavior Support Services
Due to the effects of COVID-19 and limitations related to everyone’s ensured safety, health & wellness; we have opened ABA TeleHealth NOW Services, broadly across Kentucky and this region. We utilize Google Meets at the organizational level. Google Meets ensures that our customers’ data is safe, secure and always available to them. To demonstrate our compliance with security standards in the industry, Google has sought and received security certifications such as ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 and SOC 3 Type II audits. For customers who are subject to the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), G Suite and Cloud Identity can also support HIPAA compliance. We have a BAA agreement with Google for HIPAA compliance. Under HIPAA, certain information about a person’s health or health care services is classified as Protected Health Information (PHI). G Suite and Cloud Identity customers who are subject to HIPAA and wish to use G Suite or Cloud Identity with PHI must sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Google.
Through our active agreements and security services with Google, Virtru 8 HIPAA Guard at CBA we place security at the highest level for compliance.
