Charlene Mays

Direct Support Specialist

Charlene’s journey started when she helped assist someone with autism who would go on to be successful in college. In 2016, she had the opportunity to learn ABA Behavioral therapy with the company ACT in Riverside, CA. After working in the field of ABA for 2 years, she then moved to Louisville, KY and started as a residential youth counselor for at-risk youth with multiple behavioral challenges.

She loves to listen to many genres of music and dances to Spanishish music. She also volunteers her time as a full-time Bible study teacher.

Charlene graduated from the – Cal Polytechnic University of California. in 2005 with a Bachelors in Science degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work.
