Sharon Elliott, MS, BCBA

Sharon began her career as a Licensed Psychological Associate with a community mental health organization, providing in home and office-based therapy for children and adolescents in rural areas of Kentucky. After working with children through their specialized Rural Autism Team, Sharon pursued becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and began working with individuals with intellectual and developmental delays through community-based waiver services. She then moved to Jefferson County Public Schools, working directly in two of their special schools that support children with intellectual and developmental delays along with severe and emotional behavior disorders. Next, Sharon provided center based services for children with Autism. All of these steps have led Sharon to CBA, where she is able to utilize her array of experience in client programming, staff development, and Organizational Behavior Management. Sharon’s ultimate passion is disseminating Applied Behavior Analysis to underserved populations in the local community.
Sharon enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and beautiful golden doodle named Penny. She enjoys live music events, trying new foods, documentaries, local outdoor events, and relaxing with a good book.
Sharon received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University in 2010. Following this, Sharon completed her Applied Behavior Analysis certification through Florida Institute of Technology.
