Lauren Brim

Human Resources Coordinator

Lauren has nearly 10 years experience working with children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her experience in this field began while working summer camps at the YMCA during college.

After graduating college, Lauren began working as a direct care professional. She enjoyed this position for 4 years before accepting a position as the director of training for an intermediate care facility. She was responsible for new employee training as well as ongoing training needs that were identified. Lauren gained a wealth of knowledge in her 5 year experience in this position. She loves teaching and training employees as well as continuing to learn and grow professionally.

Lauren is the proud mother of a five year old daughter. When she’s not spending time with her daughter, Lauren enjoys reading and watching or attending almost any sporting event.

Lauren received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University Southeast in 2011. She is a certified Safety Care and American Red Cross instructor, as well as a Level 3 certified investigator for the state of Kentucky.
