Heather Haynes

Business & Payroll Manager

Heather’s career began in the family entertainment and theatre industries; working at Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Studios, before returning to the Louisville area to a position at Walden Theatre. A field interest and opportunity led her to Clark Memorial Hospital, and after serving in several areas and developing her passion for patient care and support on all levels, she joined the Patient Financial Services team.

After six years as an Administrative Assistant to several directors and the department, she became the Revenue Cycle Analyst and spent the next seven years performing in-depth financial reports, creating and implementing efficient workflow solutions to support staff and patients, and controlling compliance documentation (HIPAA and SOX) for audits. In addition to the skills obtained from professional experience, Heather’s personal experience with her son, Conan, who has Autism, has given her valuable perspective and empathy, unending gratitude for the professionals who have worked with her family, and the spirited energy to express and share both with others.

Heather loves enjoying music, movies, television and creative activities with her family: husband Chris, children Conan (17) and Alice (11). She is also an awarded sugar artist who has competed in cake, cookie and gingerbread events for over ten years.

Heather has her Bachelor’s in Communications (Radio/TV/Film), with a Theatre minor from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.
