Yolanda has over ten years of experience in the fields of education, teaching, research, and counseling. It was during her time as a professor that Yolanda discovered and fell in love with behavior analysis. With a newfound passion, Yolanda completed a Master’s certificate in Behavior Analysis and began working primarily with children in their homes. Yolanda has since gained experience working with individuals from all age groups with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Yolanda also has experience working with individuals with anxiety disorders and depression.
When she is not working, you will probably find Yolanda reading at a bookstore or her favorite coffee spot, trying new restaurants, or conducting a science experiment with her daughters.
Yolanda completed her BA in Liberal Studies and Psychology at Kentucky State University (2008). Yolanda went on to earn her MBA from Colorado Tech University (2009) and her MEd in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville (2012). Yolanda received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Louisville (2016). More recently, Yolanda completed the Master’s certificate in Behavior Analysis at the University of Cincinnati (2017). Yolanda is currently pursuing certification as a BCBA.
