Behavior Support Specialist
Charissa has coached adolescents (ages 15 to 22) with developmental disabilities, behavioral, or mental health barriers as they transitioned from the child to adult systems of care. She provided education to these individuals based upon the goals they set so that they could transition to independence in ways that best suited their needs.
Charissa enjoys live music, reading, watching movies, and traveling in her free time.
Charissa holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Science in Educational Psychology from Walden University, and a graduate certificate in applied behavior analysis from Arizona State University. Charissa is currently pursuing the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
